Salvation is a gift from God to man. The most important spiritual step a person can take is to turn from their sins and commit their life to Jesus Christ. It’s sometimes called being “saved” or “born again”. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

Being saved is much more than a prayer. Though it begins with a prayer of commitment, salvation involves the entire direction of your life. It’s a lifelong commitment to follow Jesus and put His priorities above your own. Salvation happens when a person turns away from their sins and steps out in faith trusting that Jesus is the Son of God and that He alone can pay the penalty for his or her sins.

Water Baptism

As a follower of Jesus, baptism is a public statement that your faith and commitment to Him is real. We are not called to live our lives alone, but to find a growing community to share life and experience with. Through baptism, we are asking our family of faith to walk with us in a way that brings Glory to God.
