Welcome to HopeCity! Feel free to make yourself at home!

We don’t want to be just another “Sunday church.” It is our desire to provide a place where you can worship and serve God, along with challenging you to grow as a church family and make a difference in the lives of others throughout the community.

We are a church full of messed up people seeking the presence of the Holy Spirit. Here you will not be judged or looked down upon for your past. No matter where you have been, here you are family. Our doors are open.

You can worship with us Sunday morning in person or online on Facebook or YouTube. Our prayer is that God moves, speaks and changes us through the truths of His Word.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have never been to church before. Am I welcome?

What you won’t find at HopeCity are bouncers at the door doing religious checks. What you will experience is an open door where you are always welcome no matter your situation or season of life.

What are the Sunday service times and locations?

Our Service Times:

Sunday 1st Service: 9:00 a.m. Sunday 2nd Service: 11:00 a.m.

Our Sunday Location:

758 Motsinger Road Winston-Salem, NC 27107

If it’s my first time…where do I go once I get there?

We’ve got you covered. We will have friendly, knowledgeable people stationed throughout the parking lot, sidewalk and at the front doors. Once inside, one of our Guest Services volunteers can answer any question you have or help you find where you are going.

What do I need to wear?

This is simple: Come as you are, how you are. You will see everything from a traditional suit to shorts and a T-Shirt.

How long are your services?

Our services typically run between 75-90 minutes. If you need to leave early, there is no shame in that!

How can I become a Member?

You do NOT have to become a member of this church to participate in any of our ministries, events or services.  In fact, we don’t even really have members. If you would like more info about what we call “owners” of HopeCity, join us for one of our HopeCity Intro classes.

What do you have for kids?

HopeCity Kids (Nursery-5th Grade)

During the Sunday service we offer full children’s ministry from nursery to 5th grade called HopeCity Kids. Children experience music, worship, fellowship, crafts and a Bible lesson that will help them discover and grow in their faith. We ask that you please drop your kid(s) off before service starts so as not to disturb the other children once lessons have begun.

HopeCity Students (6-12th Grade)

We offer a service specifically designed for teenagers which meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-8 p.m. at the HopeCity Wallburg campus. Doors open at 6 p.m. for early drop-off. Student Ministry exists to help students understand who they are in Christ and how their faith can impact the world in which they are living in.
